Self-serve laundromat in Beaumont

How much is a load of laundry in Beaumont?

A load of laundry at Beaumont Laundromat costs $5.50 in the small 20 lb washer, $7.50 in the medium 30 lb washer and $10.00 in the large 40 lb washer. Drying is extra and paid by time: $1 buys 8 minutes in the 30 lb dryer or 6 minutes in the 40 lb dryer.

A typical example: one large washer ($10.00) plus 40 minutes in the 30 lb dryer (5 × $1 = $5.00) comes to $15.00. How long your load actually needs depends on the fabric and how full the dryer is.

Which washer size should I use?

Pick the washer by volume, not by how many items you have. Clothes need room to tumble to come out clean.

• Small (20 lb, $5.50) — a single person's weekly wash, or a load of darks or delicates on their own.
• Medium (30 lb, $7.50) — a couple's week of clothes, towels, or a set of sheets with pillowcases.
• Large (40 lb, $10.00) — a family load, heavy work clothes, or several sets of towels at once. One large load often costs less than two small ones.

Is there a laundromat open on Sunday in Beaumont, AB?

Yes. Beaumont Laundromat is open every day from 8 am to 7 pm, Sunday included. The doors unlock automatically at 8 am and lock at 7 pm, so plan to start your last dryer cycle with enough time to finish and fold before closing.

What can't go in the machines?

The sign on the door asks customers not to put pet or animal clothes and bed covers in the machines. Pet hair and bulky covers can damage machines and linger for the next customer. For comforters, blankets and duvets, use our drop-off service instead, or call 780-233-3099 to check before you bring them. Our guide to washing comforters and sleeping bags explains the options.

How do I pay for the machines?

The washers and dryers take coins, or you can skip the change and pay with your phone. Download the PayRange app (App Store or Google Play) or scan the QR code on the machine label, add funds with Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, then pick your machine in the app and tap to start it. For anything other than the machines, call 780-233-3099 to confirm payment options.
